- Time Control
- 4-round USCF-rated chess tournament. Swiss format (no eliminations). Time Controls: For K-6 sections. All Rounds G/30, <br>For 7-12 sections. Rounds 1 & 2 at G/30, Last 2 rounds at G/45
- Entry Fee
- $12 if POST-MARKED by February 25; $18 at tournament site. Bring a new chess player and take $4 discount for you & your friend. Advance entries only. Both entries must arrive together by mail to take the discount.
- Prizes
- Up to 5 Place Trophies in each section!! Medals to all who get 3 points and don’t win trophy!!
- Registration
- 8:30 - 9:30 A.M.; "First-tournament" players meeting at 10:00 A.M. <br> On-site registration cut-off at 9:30 A.M. sharp. Late entrants will be paired in Round 2.

- 1st Round at 10:30 A.M. Other rounds as soon as possible
Chess Players organized into 13 Sections: Each grade is a separate section. You must play in your own grade-level The Winner of each grade is recognized as Grade Champion for that grade. Un-rated players & beginners welcome. All must play at grade level. NO ‘playing-up’ Phone or Email entries NOT accepted. School cafeteria will not be open. Bring your lunch and drinks. Food available nearby. Bring your own chess set, board, and chess clock (if you have one). Items not provided at tournament. Proof of current USCF, MACA or WMCA membership required for on-site entries. You can join on-site when you rgister.
