Chess festivities 9am-5pm. New London's historic downtown Union Plaza Parade. Lectures by chess masters. Sections may be split, at TD discretion, based on entrants. All contestants (including advance entrants) must be present by 9:30. Please allow yourself plenty of time to arrive & register. Lectures by chess masters 9:30-10. Chess Tournament 10 AM. This tournament is not USCF-rated. Please bring your chess set (& chess clock if you own one). Playing area is plaza at end of Bank St & State St. Short walk from downtown parking garage for cars, an Amtrak train station, a bus depot, & ferry boat to Long Island, Block Island, & Fishers Island.
