4SS, HS-G/60; 14U-G/60; 11U-G/45; 8U-G/45. Novice: G/45
Entry Fee
$13 advance $18 at site for Open. Novice: $10 advance; $15 at site. Advance mail entry MUST arrive by Nov. 14 or online by Nov. 16.
Prizes
Trophies for top 3 in each division; winner in each OPEN division is invited to state finals. Ties for 1st place broken by playoff games. Medals awarded to those scoring at least 3 points who do not win a trophy.
Registration
8:00-9:00 AM. On-site cut-off at 9 AM sharp! Late entrants will be paired for Round 2 but not be given 1/2-point byes.
Round Times
Round 1 at 9:30AM Sharp.

Bring your own chess set, board and chess clock (if you have one). Items not provided at site by MACA. Chess equipment will be on sale by vendor. Special "Novice" Sections: Open to all MA players and out-of-staters. "Novice" sections are recommended for new and less experienced players, especially players with no ratings. Winners of "Under" sections will NOT receive invitation to State Championship. Age as of 12/31, 2007. Players are requested to bring a bag lunch. Chess equipment on sale.
