Holiday Team Challenge - Open to Out of State Players

- $60 per team if mailed by Tuesday, January 22 or online by Friday, January 25. $80 on site day of tournament.
- Prizes
- Trophies (team and individual) to the top three teams in each section. Medals to all playerswho score at least 3 points and who do not win team trophies.

- 8:00-8:45 AM
- Round Times
- Round 1 at 9:30 AM; others as soon as possible.
Four round Swiss system team tournament (teams of four players) Team members play on boards in rating order (board 1 highest). A team may comprisethree players, but the team will lose on board 4 when the opposing team has four players. Non-school based teams are subject to a team average rating restriction (K-3: 800; K-6:1200; K-12: 1450), and team member ratings must be within 1000 points of each other. No restriction on teams of players all from the same school. Team coach: Please download the team roster form and send it with registration or e-mail to htc2008@masschess.org. No registration will be considered complete unless we receive the team roster and all memberships (both USCF and MACA) for the players must be current.
