2008 Hurvitz Cup/Massachusetts State Team Championships

- 4SS, k-3 and k-6 G/45; 6-9 and 9-12 G/60.
- Entry Fee
- $60 per team if postmarked by Tuesday, Mar 25 or online by Friday, Mar 28. $80 on site day of tournament.
- Prizes
- Trophies (team and individual) to the top three teams in each section. Medals to all players who score at least 3 points and who do not win team trophies.
- Registration
- 8:00-8:45 AM
- Round Times
- Round 1 at 9:30 AM; others as soon as possible.
Team members play on boards in rating order (board 1 highest). One alternate allowed perteam. Feeder schools for grades 6 and 9. Must have prior approval. March ratings but exceptions at TD’s discretion. Send team lineups w/ USCF#, contact info, Grade & DOB (Team Roster Form on the left) to hurvitz2008@masschess.org. Join MACA online: from Home Page upper right corner --> click Join/Renew MACA Membership or Join/Renew by click "Register" for the online registration page. Proof of current USCF, MACA membership required for on-site entries. You will be required to pay membership fees if you can't provide membership card or mailing label showing exp date or USCF receipt. If the required info is not received by 03/28 your registration will not be consider finalized and your team will have to pay $20 EXTRA (for on-site registration)!
