- $50 per team if mailed by March 24 or online by March 27. $80 on site. No entry fee for teams that already entered the 3/1 event.
- Prizes
- Trophies (team and individual) to the top three teams in each section. Medals to all players who score at least 3 points and who do not win team trophies.
- Registration
- 8:00-8:45 a.m.
- Round Times
- Round 1 at 9:30 AM; others as soon as possible.
Team members play on boards in rating order (board 1 highest). One alternate allowed per team. Feeder schools for grades 6 and 9 must have prior approval. March ratings but exceptions at TD’s discretion. Please send team roster form with entry or e-mail roster to ggg2009@masschess.org. For complete tournament rules check Scholastics State Championship area of the website. Proof of current USCF, MACA membership required for on-site entries. You will be required to pay membership fees if you can't provide membership card or mailing label showing exp date or USCF receipt. If the required info is not received by 03/27 your registration will not be considered finalized and your team will have to pay $30 EXTRA (for on-site registration)! Food and chess equipment available for purchase on site.
