When leaving "T" stop take a right onto Armory and the community center is a short walk away on 144 McBride St. MA Jamaica Plain Community Center

Time Control
4SS, G/30 (you play 4 rounds unless you get a 1/2 point bye for Round 1)
Entry Fee
Advance entry $3, $4 if e-mail or phone entry, $6 at site. Scholarships available. Advanced entries must be received by 01/17/03.
Prizes
Trophies to the top three places and the top female player in each section. Plus medals if you score 3 points and don't win a trophy. Special metals for all Age 5 and under even if they don’t win a trophy!
Registration
8:00AM to 9:30AM (sharp). Entries after 9:30AM will receive 1/2-point bye or be paired if possible with other late arrivals.
Round Times
Round 1 at 10:00AM. Others on completion of each round.

The Living Memorial Chess Fund sponsors this event with the help of donations. The Boston Community Center also sponsors this event. Life Master Eric J. Godin will be on hand to lecture and go over games. Unrated Sections (no USCF membership required) Shark Section (players with USCF rating 750 or better, USCF membership required): OK to play up. Age 12 and under will finish early afternoon by 2:30PM, others by 3PM. Bring Chess Set, Boards and a Bag Lunch The Boston Community Center will provide a small snack for the children.
