- Entry Fee
- $20 advance if postmarked by Sept 28th, Paypal by Oct 1st, $25 at site.
- Prizes
- Trophies for top 3 in each division; winner (MA student) in each OPEN division is invited to state finals. Ties for 1st place in Open section broken by playoff games. Medals awarded to those scoring at least 3 points who do not win a trophy.

On-site registration cut-off at 9:00 AM sharp. Late entrants will be paired in round 2 but NO 1/2 byes in open sections. Players playing in any qualification event, or in the state championships, are assumed to be familiar with the intent of 2009 State Championship rules here. Proof of current USCF, MACA membership required for on-site entries. Section eligibility based on age as of Dec 31, 2010. No Smoking. No Computers. Site is Wheelchair-accessible. Bring your own chess set, board, and chess clock (if you have one). Items not proviced at tournament. Chess equipment on sale.
