BCF Chess Camp December 2014

Entry Fee
The camp is $80 for BCF members. Non-members who have never been members before will need to pay to join the club for one year in which case the camp fee is waived. * See below for more information.
Registration

Round Times
9am-12pm

The chess camps invite young chess players who already have a complete understanding of the rules of chess to come and develop their abilities. With a combination of lecture, question/answer, and hands-on techniques, the instructor(s) will cover:Tactics, Strategy, Openings, Middlegames and Problems. Who can join? School-age, K to 12, interested in getting better at chess from motivated beginner to intermediate.

  • Parents with more than one child in the camp can get a discount - only $55 per child.

Sections with fewer than six players may be merged.

In accordance with BCF policy, unrated players may play in any section. Rated players rated within 200 points of the lower section maximum may play up one section.
