9:00 AM - 10:00 AM. ONLY CHECK OR CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR WALK-IN REGISTRATION.
Round Times
Round 1 at 10:30 AM.

Onsite Registration: 9:00 AM to 10:00AM. Players who register in advance must check in onsite between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Players must compete according to grade. Playing up a section is NOT allowed in this event. Players in grades K-3 may play in either the K-3 section or the K-5 section. To qualify for the Rockefeller Tournament of State Elementary School Champions, a player must play in the K-5 section. We encourage players in grades K-3 to play in the K-3 section unless they are competing to play in the Rockefeller tournament. Please bring a clock if you have one. Boards will be provided. No outside food may be brought into the hotel. Food is available in the mall and nearby. Team Competition: A school team’s total score is calculated by adding points from the top three players. Players must be from the same school. A team must have 3 or more players. Be sure to list your school on entry form. The highest scoring RI player in each applicable section will be chosen to represent RI at the Denker (9-12 section), Barber (6-8 section), or Rockefeller (K-5 section) tournament. Winner is based on tournament tiebreaks.
