A current USCF membership is required for all sections. Players accumulate Grand Prix points (win = 3pts, draw = 2pts, loss = 1pt). Grand Prix runs September-May. Prizes for Grand Prix series winners include a special trophy, free entries to future events, and lessons with titled players.
Sections with fewer than six players may be merged.
In accordance with BCF policy, unrated players may play in any section. Rated players rated within 200 points of the lower section maximum may play up one section.
