2022 RI Scholastic State Championship *OPEN TO OUT OF STATE PLAYERS*

- There is no onsite registration for this tournament. Registration will occur exclusively online.
- Round Times
- Round 1 at 9:30 AM. Round 2 at 11:00 AM. Round 3 at 1:00 PM. Rounds 4 & 5 paired ASAP upon completion of previous round.
All attendees must wear a mask at all times. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes players, parents, coaches, and all others present at the tournament site. We are limiting registration to 32 players for the Grades K-5 section, 46 players for the Grades 6-8 section, and 34 players for the Grades 9-12 section. We strongly encourage players to register as soon as possible. Players must compete according to grade. Playing up a section is NOT allowed in this event. All registration cancellations must be requested prior to the first round of the tournament. All refunds are subject to a $5 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after the start of the first round of the tournament. Please bring a clock if you have one. Boards will be provided. No outside food may be brought into the hotel. Team Competition: A school team’s total score is calculated by adding points from the top three players. Players must be from the same school. A team must have three or more players.
