BCF Simul and Lecture with GM Leonid Kritz

Time Control
Players must move when the GM arrives at their respective board.

$45, $30 for BCF Members; Limited to the first 30 players who enter.

Each game will be analyzed briefly, and the major mistakes will be pointed out.

Event located at 35 Kingston St, Boston, MA, near Downtown Crossing, first floor. Limited to the first 30 players who enter. The Simul will be held shortly after the Rapid tournament ends. (separate entry fee) Players of all skill levels are welcome, from total beginner up to Daniel Naroditsky Play one real game against GM Leonid Kritz, who will be taking on up to 30 opponents simultaneously. Should a game end in less than 20 moves, you will be given an opportunity to take a second shot. Each game will be analyzed briefly, and the major mistakes will be pointed out. This is a unique opportunity to get feedback from a grandmaster on your play! Following the simultaneous exhibition, there will be a 60-minute lecture featuring the development of tactical skills, creative outside-the-box thinking, and, perhaps most importantly of all, the finding of candidate moves. Sections with fewer than six players may be merged.

In accordance with BCF policy, unrated players may play in any section. Rated players rated within 200 points of the lower section maximum may play up one section.
