6-7 p.m.: reception (meeting with Harold Dondis and other chess dignitaries) 7-8 p.m.: dinner (a chicken buffet, with side dishes, salad, coffee, tea, dessert) 8-9 p.m.: ceremony (with guest speakers, including a special appearance by GM Patrick Wolff) Advance payment for the dinner must be received by Friday, Nov. 5. No dinner tickets will be sold at the door. Those wishing to come for only the ceremony, starting at 8 p.m., will be charged $25 per person at the door and will receive an autographed copy of the October-December issue of Chess Horizons, which contains an exclusive interview with Harold Dondis. MACA members should clearly identify themselves when registering, so that they will receive the discount available to them for the dinner. Those who enter by the deadline should provide complete names, addresses, telephone numbers and preferably e-mail addresses so that their advance registration can be confirmed.
