- 4-SS; High School Open and Junior High Open G/60, all other sections G/45

- Trophies to Top 3 in each section!! Medals to those who finish with at least 3 points!! Top valid finisher in each Open section qualifies for the Mass State Championships.

- 8:00 - 8:45 A.M sharp; late registration paired for Round 2.

- Round 1 at 9:30 a.m.
Open sections are for experienced players. Open players must play in their correct section. Ages are verified as of 12/31/04. Novice sections are for newer and less experienced players. Novice players can play up into a higher section. Provisional ratings are considered valid ratings. Lunch break between rounds - bring food, or JFK cafeteria within 10-minute walk. Tournament does not provide chess sets, boards and clocks - bring your own. Chess equipment and books will be on sale at tournament site. No smoking. No computers. Tournament site is wheelchair-accessible.
