- 4-SS, G/60 for High School & Jr. High Open, Others G/45 for all other Sections
- Entry Fee
- $15 (Open) or $10 (Under) if postmarked by 1/26/05 (or online till 1/27); $25 (Open) or $15 (Under) at tournament site.
- Prizes
- Trophies to Top 3 in each section!! Medal if you score 3 points and don't win a trophy! Winners in Open Sections advance to Massachusetts State Scholastic Chess Championship.

- 8:00 – 9:00 A.M (“First-tournament” players pick up hand outs!!); Late registration pair for round 2.
- Round Times
- 1st Round at 9:30A.M. Other rounds as soon as possible.
Open Sections are only for students enrolled in Massachusetts schools or qualified home schools. Under Sections are open to all STUDENTS from all STATES. Ages are verified as of 12/31/04. On-site registration cut-off at 9:00 A.M Late entrants will be paired in Round 2. Under sections (for new and less experienced players) does not qualify you to play in State Championship. No Smoking. No Computers. Site is Wheelchair-accessible. No food provided on site. Bring your own food & drinks. Food is available nearby, off site. Bring your own chess set, board, and chess clock (if you have one). Chess equipment on sale.
